My name's Mark Scott and I moved to Finland from US (where I counselled for Siemens and my other clients in the intellectual property rights) in 2019 and now work as a Team Leader of the US IP Team and Partner of Laine IP and US Patent Attorney on firm’s chemistry team. I have degrees in Forensic Science and Chemistry and Juris Doctor of Law from The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois, USA.

In my spare time I enjoy lots of things like art, film, travel, sports, working out, studying foreign languages and also spending time with my family, including my young daughter. In addition to that, I am also a local DJ in the Helsinki city area, where I like to play in cocktail lounges and terraces under the name DJ Patent.
